Girls Volleyball

Our girls program has been around for over two decades developing athletes and preparing young women for life outside of sports. We emphasize helping girls develop leadership and teamwork skills that will not only help them be successful on the court but also in life off the court. We encourage them to pursue a deeper relationship with God in everything they do and to rely on Him whether they’re winning or losing.

We have an awesome group of coaches who are excited to push the girls to excel in everything they do and to build encouraging relationships with one another. Learn more about our coaches here.

Practices are typically Tuesday/Thursday nights. Some Monday practices will occur towards the beginning of the season for certain age groups and during league night weeks.

Junior High & ELEMENTARY

Our junior high & elementary program is for 5th-8th grade girls. 8th grade girls are welcome to try out for the JV team. All junior high teams will participate in the Parochial Athletic League (PAL)This league provides 9 matches, usually on a Thursday or Friday night or Saturday late morning/early afternoon. They will also participate in the local National Homeschool Volleyball Tournament at the end of October.

HIGH SCHOOL

Our Junior Varsity program is for 8th-12th grade girls. Our Varsity program is for 9th-12th grade girls. All teams participate in Tuesday night league nights for five weeks in September and October. Depending on the level of the team, they will participate in 6-9 tournaments, some local, some traveling, with Varsity attending and traveling the most. (see calendar below for specific dates)

Tryouts for high school players occur a week before the Preseason tournament (see calendar below for specific dates). These are NOT tryouts where we decide who gets to play or not. Instead tryouts are simply used to determine which team players fit best on (i.e. Varsity, JV1 or JV2).

All high school teams are considered competitive teams. Players are placed in positions that allow them to be successful individually and as a team. Players on JV teams are guaranteed playing time whereas Varsity players are not always guaranteed playing time. More specific details will be shared with players after teams are divided.
