A BIT OF HISTORY...

2021 was the first year of boys volleyball for Omaha Lightning. We had 18 young men sign up with no promise of any matches to play.  We set four goals for the year and we achieved all of them:

  1. To grow in volleyball skills.
  2. To learn the rules of the game and some of the nuances too.
  3. To have fun!
  4. To make new friendships within our Christian homeschool community.

In the end we played in four tournaments and more than 24 matches. We finished the year with a third place finish in the National Homeschool Volleyball Tournament (NHSVBT).
